Corporation of the City of Norfolk to Wit. -
I Charles Sharp a Notary Public for the Corporation aforesaid in the State of Virginia, do Certify that Elisha K. Johnson, whose name is signed to the writing above bearing date on the 7th day of February in the year 1861 has acknowledged the same before me in my Corporation aforesaid - Given under my hand this 7th day of February 1861-

State of Virginia: Corporation of the City of Norfolk to Wit. I Charles Sharp a Notary for the Corporation of the City of Norfolk in the State of Virginia do certify that Julia A. H. Johnson, the wife of Elisha K Johnson whose names are signed to the writing above bearing date on the 7th day of February 1861. personally appeared before me in the Corporation aforesaid and being examined by me [[?]] and apart from her husband and having the writing aforesaid fully explained to her, she the said Julia A. H. Johnson acknowledged the said writing to be her act and declared that She had willingly executed the same and does not wish to retract it. Given under my hand this 7th day of February 1861- Charles Sharp Notary Public

In the clerk's office of the Court of the Corporation of the City of Norfolk on the 8th day of February 1861- This Deed was presented and with the Certificates annexed of the acknowledgment thereof by Elisha K. Johnson a party thereto before a Notary Public and of the [[?]] examination acknowledgement and declaration of Julia A. H. wife of the said Elisha K. Johnson admitted to record-
