In compliance with Circular No 16, B.R.F & A L Head Quarters Asst Commr. District of Virginia Richmond Va. dated Aug. 17th 1867. I have the honor to report that I have confered with the several Boards of Overseers of the Poor in my Division with reference to each county caring for its own poor.

Stafford County has a Poor House and will receive all paupers legally belonging to the County, the support consists in such care as is generally given at a Poor House.

King George County has a Poor House but the accomodations are at present limited, they are prepared to receive five or six paupers at present,
