Dear Sir
Your letter with refference to Julia, the daughter of Amanda has just been received. I reply at once, for the purpose of stating that at the time of my last letter upon the subject, I was expecting to leave Va and stated to you that if Julia desired; she should go to Lexington. My arrangements were altered during the Fall, and I would here state finnally, and positively, so that there shall be no further enterfereance upon the subject, that Julia wile remain with me until Sept. 67, unless it suits my convenience to send her sooner, I have the assureance of the Bureau at this place that they will not desolve the obligation made by —
