General;
     I have the honor to enclose requisition for material to start the Industrial School at this place. Also a list of the goods and price that they can be bought for here. Mrs Fisher is willing to take charge of the school and pay the assistants herself, for $83 00/100 dollars per month, and I think, that would be the best way to fix it, as she will then have them under her control and can discharge them if they do not suit, and get others without the trouble of reporting their names, time, &c. or drawing their pay on the rolls or vouchers.
     Mrs. Fisher is an energetic & competent person for such a place, and will make it successfull, if any one can. If you coincide with my views, will you please send her appointment to me.
     I shall have a room ready to commence work as soon as the material is here & hope to receive
