I have the honor to request transportation for Maria Wanzer, a blind freedwomen from Warrenton, Va., to Alexandria, Va., where she can receive Medical treatment. Also for her attendant Henderson Warner (col'd) from Warrenton, Va., to Alexandria, Va. and return.
This woman with her attendant has already been transported to this place, and is now at the Freedmen's Hospital, and her attendant has returned to Warrenton, the O. & A. R.R. Co. having been assured that an order would be given to cover the transportation.
