Bureau Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands
HEADQUARTERS SUB ASST., COM'R, 10th SUB DIST., STATE OF VIRGINIA
Alexandria, Va., July 13th 1867

Capt. Garrick Mallery
A.A.A. General,

Captain,
I have the honor to request authority to drop from my monthly report of lands the property known as "Ruins of an old Mill;" situated on the wharf at foot of Wilkes Street, Alexandria, Va. The property is owned by Mr. Charles Jamieson of Marlborough, Prince George Co. Maryland. Mr. Jamieson has been loyal, and a consistent unionist during the entire war. He has satisfied me that the property is his, that he has never abandoned it, and that he has paid taxes on it regularly, and I recommend that it be dropped from the land report and returned to Mr. Jamieson.

I am, Captain,
Very Respectfully
Your Obd't. Serv't.
S.P. Lee
Capt. and Sub. Asst. Com'r.
10th Sub - Dist. Virginia
