I have the honor to report that I attended the court of the County of Fauquier and heard the trial between Wm Anderson Plaintiff and Mrs Ann I Tracy Deft The evidence of Anderson I enclose with the record of the case (marked A)

It seems from the evidence that Mrs Tracy and her son wished to remove to Washington and that the Mill property with the land was for rent. Anderson came to the mill one day and wanted to rent the mill. Tracy told him he thought his mother would rent it to him if he could give good security such as would satisfy her. Mr Philip Tracy wrote off 3 bonds or notes (marked B, C, D) and Anderson was to get certain endorsers named to Mr Tracy and his Mother. He took them and afterwards returned with endorsers that Mrs Tracy would not accept and left the notes or bonds without either her or her sons knowledge
