I Elizabeth Lowry do solemnly swear in the presence of Almighty God that I will henceforth faithfully support, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, and the Union of the States thereunder, and that I will in like manner abide by and faithfully support all laws and proclamations which have been made during the existing rebellion in regard the the emancipation of slaves. So help me God

I furthermore swear that, that I am not embraced in any of the exceptions contained in the President's Amnesty proclamation of May 1865

This day personally appeared before me James E Riddick a Notary Public duly Commissioned and sworn residing and practicing in my City aforesaid Elizabeth Lowry and made oath that she voluntarily subscribed her name and took the above Amnesty oath.
