Remarks My day scholars are all small, this being placed in the field as soon as they are large enough to carry water. There seems to be a good feeling between the [[?]] and the colored people. Both parties have treated me with marked kindness and courtesy. The oldest freedmen [[?]] as remarkable desire to learn devoting every moment of their spare time to study. This Report is incomplete unless each blank is filled by a number, or cypher.
