Remarks All learn to take a great interest in learning the night school is attended by the older ones working in the fields and some are studying Geography Arithmatic and Writing &c and are improving fast this school has the full cooperation of Mr. Britton which [[aid]] us very much to its success. The Freedmen [[propose]] to pay the teacher next year which I think they were able to do, all seem to be quite industrous &c
