State of Virginia:

I. Chas P. Janney Clerk of the County Court of Loudoun County, certify that the title to a lot of land adjoining Leesburg in said county containing 5¾ acres has its title vested in Edward G. Marlow, and not in James Adams - as is shown by the land records of my office.

I further certify that said Edward G. Marlow does not come under any of the exceptions of the Proclamation of the President of the United States of 29th May 1865.

Given under my hand and the seal of the said Court at Leesburg this 22d day of Feb 1867
