Describes two unoccupied lots in Strasburg, Va, said to have been used by the late Rebel Government - States that the Deed is made to the State of Virginia in 1861 -

Respectfully forwarded to Bt. Brig. Gen. O. Brown, A.A.A.G. to know whether the Bureau should take possession of these lots, and if so, what disposition should be made of them - They were purchased in 1861 by the state of Virginia, for the use of her troops, and have been so used during the war -
