I have the honor to report my action as Mil. Court in the following case, in which a freedman was complainant - Previns appt having been made is two Justices for a warrant which they refused to issue.

Scott Brady, a minor, charged with assaulting Jake Buckner cold - found guilty & bound over in the sum of $50 to keep the peace-

John Legg - charged with encouraging and inciting Brady to commit a breach of the peace - He being a grown relation of Bradys, and it appearing that it was at his instigation the Boy Brady, made the assault;  he was fined $5.00 - including costs as follows -

Witness fees.  3 witnesses @50¢     1.50
Constables fees.  Summoning 3 witnesses @20¢    .60
Constables Serving 2 warrants @60¢   1.20
