and the Overseers of the Poor on such terms as was agreed on between their mother Polly Andrews and my-self. I obligated myself to pay to Polly Andrews one hundred dollars for each of her said sons in such amounts, and at such times as her necessities might demand. I am to raise them and to furnish them with proper and necessary clothing also to learn them the occupation of farming to the best of my ability or cause the same to be done.

I am also bound to furnish them with comfortable houses to live in &c but there is nothing said about education as, the state laws then prohibited the education of Colored persons. I believe Polly Anderson obligated herself that her said sons should faithfully serve me as an apprentice or laborers until they were each 21 years of age.

The above though not in form, I think, embraces all the points of obligation in the Indetures [[Indentures]]. I have already paid Polly Andrews for the services of her sons, kept them from starvation and raised the boys until they are beginning to be able to repay me and you are aware of the way she is trying to repay my kindness.

Respectfully Yours &c
J.W. Wilson
