At a county court held for Elizabeth City County June the 28th 1866 the last will and testament of Lucretia Powell dced was produced in court and it was proven by D.G. Marrow one of the subscribing witnesses thereto that Lucretia Powell acknowledged the said paper in his presence and in the presence of the other subscribing witnesses all present at the same time to be her last will and testament and requested them to sign it as witnesses and they signed the said paper in her presence whereafter the said paper was admitted to probate as the last will & testament of Lucretia Powell dced.
