Under this order Mr Hix transfered to Mr Thomas R Marshall 2 mules & one bay horse, all as thoroughly poor & broken down as it is possible for animals to be & yet be able to get along at all. I dont know whether this horse was taken from Cumby or not & Mr Hix says he dont remember taking any horses from Cumby but Cumby had no right to a public horse under Hix's orders as he had no horse to lose & therefore lost none
