Presents a claim for fuel furnished indigent freedmen on his farm Rosland since organization of the Bureau, and states that during the war several hundred freedmen were living on his farm and quotes what Gen Butler, Gen Miles and other officers have said in reference to freedpeople and US Troops being encamped on his farm. Is not particular, will accept whatever the Gov't may think proper, but is sure that he is entitled to something.
