written to the Clerk of the District Court, but as we did not suppose the Clerk would take any notice of the letter, we thought it best to endorse it to you and get you to go around at once, and get the certificate and endorse it yourself. You might just read the letter, and of course if you will be good enough to attend to it (and this is his only hope as the time is so short) you need not leave the certificate for him to send. Enclose the certificate with your note and all costs in the accompanying envelope. Your attention will not only oblige us, but confer a lasting favor on Mr Jenkins
