I am directed by Col Brown to acknowledge the Receipt of your letter of the 20th inst. and inform you that the order. adopted by the Bureau in this State is to allow all uncollected Rent from date of pardon to go to the Owner. When the Owner is not included in the exceptions under the Amnesty proclamation of the President of May 29th 1865. All uncollected Rents accruing [[strikethrough]] Rents accruing [[/strikethrough]] after the date of taking the oath under Said amnesty proclamation are allowed the owner.
