In reply I have the honor to inform you that the order restoring your property was issued on the 20th Dec 1865, and forwarded to Captain Flagg. Enclosed you will find an official copy of the order. John Snead, and Eli Spurlich 'Col' have been to these Head Qrs. and complain that their private fire arms were taken away from them. You will have these cases investigated.
