I have the honor to transmit [[strikethrough]] herewith [[/strikethrough]] forty two copies [[strikethrough]] each of General Orders, [[/strikethrough]] Bureau Officers Manual [[strikethrough]] Nos. [[/strikethrough]] forwarded this day to your address by mail.  

[[strikethrough]] Also, copies each of of Circulars, Chief Q. M. O., Bureau R. F. and A. L., Nos. [[/strikethrough]] the receipt of which you will promptly acknowledge, by signing and returning the accompanying letter.

[[strikethrough]] You will be held responsible for the distribution of Orders to officers serving under your direction. [[/strikethrough]]
