Referring to the application of Mr. Ed P. Smith, Agent, American Missionary Association of date New York Nov. 22/66 asking that the unoccupied Barrack at Camp Hamilton, Hampton, Va. be assigned for the use of teachers as quarters, referred by you to this office November 26th 66. You are respectfully informed that Bvt. Brig. General A.P. Blunt, Chief Quartermaster, Department of the Potomac, Richmond Va. has been directed to turn over the buildings for the purpose desired with the understanding that they be given up as soon as required by the Department.
