Respectfully referred to Bvt. Maj. General J.M. Schofield, Asst. Commr for the Department of the Potomac remarking that in view of the fact that the applicant for transportation in this case has already undertaken to comply with the Regulations, by giving bond &c. to the Assistant Commissioner for Louisiana, and to avoid further delay, Mr J.N. Bondurant is permitted to take the preliminary steps to procure transportation as indicated by the second section of the Regulations of
