You are authorized to purchase supplies of corn at Alexandria, & ship such amounts as may be needed to Fort Monroe & Richmond. All needed blanks will be forwarded as soon as printed. It is intended to issue one bushel (56 lbs) of corn and eight pounds of pork to each adult. Full instructions will be furnished when printed.
