I have the honor to request that enquiries may be made for Jacob Scott, colored, aged 22 years, child of Henry & Nancy Scott - When last seen, he was driving the, or a, Head Quarter waggon, belonging to General Meade's Hd. Qrs., on the passage of the army through Richmond to Washington, soon after the evacuation of that city.
