The no. of tribes and tribal delegations that are assisted in Washington: There are between 50 and 80 tribes sending delegations to Washington between January and the end of Congress. Some 15 Or 20 more delegations come in toward the end of the session and the end of the year, usually on claims hearings. The delegations, as you know, will stay from one day to a week, and the assistance given them ranges all the way barely meeting them and checking with them to see if there is anything we can do to helping with statements, taking notes in bureau meetings if they wish it, and this isn't often, because that is often provided in the bureau, making appointments, looking up information, well, you know better than anyone else the kind of services you expect and want when you go there. President Garry, I think the work of these committees, to guide us in the work of next year and to help us get many of these questions answered is so much more important than going on with this kind of trying to report when I really didn't expect to have to be here this long, that with your permission I would like very much to get on with the work of the committees and again later in the convention when I really think I'm going to make a report and have a chance to prepare it, or we have more questions and I would be very glad to come back again and report more fully to the delegation and in the meantime I do think that some of these committees are so important to the rest of our convention and if they don't work tonight they won't get the rest of their work in.
Thank you,Mrs. Peterson. Thank you again, Mrs. Peterson. I explained that because of the reasons given the original plan or what had been last minute plans didn't work out so next will be dismissal and call on the various committees that are to meet tonight. First of all, I want to make this announcement before we close that the Resolutions Committee will meet in that corner over there of this room. Public Relations will be on this side, west and east, now the Finance Committee will meet downstairs in Convention Hall. Now you take the stairway downstairs to the left to the entrance of Regal Dining room on the 1st floor. Now your chairman, of course, for the present, Vice-Chairman will be in charge tonight of the Resolutions Committee . He is Darcy McNickle. Is Darcy here?
