BUREAUS OF ADMINISTRATION. ART. INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION. 1876. United States Centennial Commission. Philadelphia March 28th 1876. Mrs. Lillie M. Spencer 294 High Street Newark, N. J. My Dear Friend You can send your pictures on to me direct at Memorial Hall about Monday the 17th of April, and I will receive and care for them. This, you know, is ignoring the "Committee on Selection" but I do it in your favor, and you need not speak of it, as it would involve me unpleasantly with them. I know your work and it character and quality, and that it don't need a Committee's examination to see whether it is worthy of admission. Be sure and prepay the transportation charges through to the Art Building itself, or it will stop on its way at the R. R. Depot. Receive my best regards for the sake of "Auld Lang Syne" Yours truly John Sartain Chief of Art Bureau
