It is to be boarded up and battened, and owing to the size it will require more lumber than I supposed in my report of the 15th inst.  I have made a careful estimate of the lumber and other material which will be required, and must ask you for a larger appropriation than I at first named.

The location, and all the circumstances of the case are so favorable, and the school promises so much usefulness, that I am very hopeful I shall not exceed in my request, what, in your judgment, it will be entirely expedient and proper to grant.

The following aid is earnestly requested.
