Showing an increase of 542, in Hospital during the month. The percentage of deaths during the month was 9, to 1000.

The same Dispensaries exist as at last report viz: - Norfolk, Yorktown, Petersburg, Richmond, Lynchburg, and Alexandria, in all six (6.) Freedmen in quarters at Hampton are supplied from Hospital Dispensary.

The number of Medical Officers remains the same as at last report and stations the same, Only one change has been made. the contract of A.A. Surg. W.A. Nason U.S.A. on duty at Yorktown was annulled, and a contract made with Dr. Casey who relieved Dr. Nason.

The number of employees in Medical Dept. of State, not including Medical Officers, at the close of last month was as follows.

Hampton Grove Hospital   Males. 4. Females 2.
