I have the honor to present, the report which follows, of the operation of, and the present condition of, the Medical Department of the Bureau R.F. & A. Lands District of Virginia, during the month ending November 30th 1868. Viz: 

At the close of October there were two (2) Hospitals in operation in the District viz,
At Richmond, & Hampton.

The Hampton Hospital was closed on the 10th of November.

Twenty (27) patients, who could not be elsewhere provided for, and who were in a helpless condition, were removed to the Hospital at Richmond.

All attendants in the Hampton Hospital were discharged Nov 10th. The property of the Hospital was safely stored to await decision as to the disposal of it.
