Received of Nat Hanes (Freedman) one calf and one box of tobacco the proceeds of which is to be applied to pay the rent of the place he lives in belonging to me. If I get more for tobacco & calf than will pay the rent I will pay it over [[strikethrough]] at [[/strikethrough]] to said Hanes if not the the tobaco and calf settles the rent
