No schools are in operation one or two may be established in next Quarter
Mr Fernald has been absent during much of the quarter But reported no outrages as occurring during his absence.
In Henry County the poor levies will be amply sufficient to care for all indigent, while in Patrick and Franklin they are rather limited but may under the rather good crops suffice for the most necessitous 
His office and records are as reported in the past.
Division No 4 Bedford and Botetourt counties J.F. Wilcox in charge.
The general condition of the freedmen in this division is better than elsewhere in 7th Sub District. Labor is less in excess and commands fair wages and comparatively good treatment and provision by the employer Jury trials however presents some features generally as in other divisions
