Reports that in Woodstock Va on May the 18th, a number of men on learning of the Pres'dts aquittal gathered together and insulted & alarmed the Union people in town. - J.T.H. Hall, the A.S.A.C. was absent.- Encloses affidavits and asks that Hugh Ott & George Kinley be arrested by the Mil Comr for cutting down the flag pole & burning same, and that the parties named in affidavits of Joseph Travel be held as accessories.
