Mr. G.C. Orgain acted as Agent from Nov 17th 1865 to May 23rd 1866 and as an Asst up to Nov 1867. During

this time he held the Office of Commonwealth Attorney for which he receives ($400) four hundred dollars from the County Court and ($50) fifty dollars from the Circuit Court and usual fees for his services.  From Nov 1865 to May 1866 his time was occupied about three days in the week. the balance of the time only occasionally as cases came to him. How much business he lost by his connections with the Bureau is difficult to ascertain but he seems now to get a fair share of the business in the Courts. He does not seem to be of that class of Radicals who are entirely ostracized.  He is justly entitled to compensation for his services.
