In reply to your favor of 3d inst. I have to say that there is an open account on our books of $109. - and interest to credit of Lewis Hall, B. 2d Lt. Art. opened 12th May, 1866. = book issued to Lewis Hall. 

My position at that time was "Bounty Clerk, for Bureau, under Capt A.S. Flagg."
