February 18th 1867. Lacey Captain R. S. Superintendent 33./40. Captain I am directed by the Asst. Comr to call your attention to a discrepancy which exists in your report of Rations issued in the month of January. Your December report shows a balance of 436 rations remaining on hand. No mention is made of them in January. The rations reported as issued during the month were drawn specially for that month. Please explain the matter.
