You will undoubtedly be able to procure this information from the County records.-
The information is required immediately.-

The case of assault and battery upon Harriet Brown, freedwoman by Joseph Follin and James Strother, alluded to in your report of March 18th 1867. is referred to you for such action as will bring it before he proper Civil Authorities. You will furnish to the authorities taking cognisance of the case, a copy of G.O. No. 1, Head Quarters, First District.
