Sir,
The Asst. Comr. directs that you order J.F. Wilson, A.S.A.C., to make an immediate explanation to these Hd. Qrs. why he has not complied with the requirements of Cir. No 16, C.S. from these Hd. Qrs.  By Par 1. S.O. 97, dated August 8, 1868, a leave of absence for twenty (20) days was granted Mr. Wilson, which, by a communication of Aug. 16, 1868, he informed the Asst. Comr. he should avail himself of, to date from Aug. 17.  Mr. Wilson  was due at his station in the 7 inst.
