December 28, 1934

Mr. Germain Seligmann
3 E. 51st St.
New York, N. Y.

Dear Mr. Seligmann :

A Happy New Year! The Palmer House is starting 1935 with good news for the many thousands of our friends throughout the world.

New Low Rates! That's the good news! We are writing this holiday message because we want you to know that we are anxious to have you use our facilities. Our single rooms are now as low as three dollars and double rooms are low as five dollars. These attractive rates and our enviable location, which is within easy walking distance of every business, financial and amusement facility in downtown Chicago, make the Palmer House the outstanding hotel in Chicago.

Our six dining rooms insure you the best of foods prepared in the manner which has made Palmer House cuisine famous since 1871. Breakfasts are priced from forty cents; luncheons from thirty-five cents; and dinners from ninety cents to two dollars and fifty cents in the renowned Empire Room where are found America's finest floor shows and dance orchestras.

May we not have the pleasure of your patronage in 1935? A warm welcome awaits you at the Palmer House.

Very Sincerely yours,
E Lawless
