Dear Mr. Liechti:

Herein I am sending you sample of monks cloth for the main gallery, selected by Mr. Germain Séligmann.

I got the sample from Bloomingdale's shortly before I left, and at the time they quoted the price of $.59 per yard, (50" wide), though at the time they said there might be a slight change in price, either upwards or downwards - but that nevertheless it would be close to the figure they quoted me then.

As you will recall, you told me, from your records, that previously we purchased 125 yards, and of course we would need the same amount of material this time.

If you get in touch with Suzie she can of course go over to Bloomingdale's and order it, having it sent C.O.D., and then she can go ahead with the work.

We are of course using the same old hangings at the door to Mr. René's office and at the window, though they will probably be a bit darker than the new material on the walls. Also, the window and door hangings will have to be dry-cleaned. The Naptha Rug Company (???) which cleaned the carpets recently might undertake to dry clean the hangings at a reasonable price.

Yours very sincerely,

(Theresa D. Parker)
