9 RUE DE LA PAIX, Paris.

July 22nd., 1937.

Dear Bob:

I am rather disappointed that you did not make arrangements on your way to Budapest, to stop somewhere in Switzerland where it would have been easy for us to meet - as I told you I was perfectly willing to go down in the valley to meet you. I have no intentions of going to Austria or Hungary for the time being, so I shall, I fear, have to postpone the pleasure of seeing Helen and you until we are back in the States.

I trust you have had a very interesting time in Budapest and Vienna and that you have made interesting notes about collections etc.

The first thing you will have to do, and as soon as possible after you return to the States, is to get in touch with Francis Taylor again and find out about the "Diana" and also about the possibility of doing something with the Roger van der Weyden and Korbeck of Schiff.

We have had absolutely no news from Duncan Phillips, and César, who told me he was going to St. Wolfgang, will be able to tell you about the Chas. Cunningham
