July 20th., 1943.

My Dear Miss Bagg:

Several times yesterday, and again today, I have tried to reach you by telephone, but unfortunately have not been able to obtain any answer, so am sending you this little note.

Before going to the country, Mr. Germain Séligmann asked me to contact you about July 19th., in order to inquire whether you wished your thesis mailed to you, as he felt you might not wish it out of your hands for too long a time.

If you will be so good as to 'phone me, or drop a line, I shall be glad to carry out your wishes. Our telephone number is PLaza-3-0250.

I might mention that officially the galleries are closing at the end of this week for the Summer, though someone will be here part of the time, next week.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Yours very truly,

Secretary to Mr. Germain Séligmann.
