April 24th., 1943.

Dear Baron:

Answering your note of April 21st., inviting me to a meeting at the Yale Club, I do want you to know that I am taking a very keen interest in the problems which face us these days.

I am not sure, however, of being able to join you on May 6th., due to an urgent trip. In view of this I would appreciate it if you could give me a few minutes of your time in the coming days, as I have myself, certain ideas and views on these problems, which I would like to exchange with you.

Would you be good enough to let me have a ring (PLaza-3-0250) advising me when this might be convenient to you?

Yours very sincerely,
(Germain Séligmann)
