Dear Germain:

I hope your trip was nice and enjoyable and that you are having a grand time in Paris.

The aim of this letter: Swarzenski was in yesterday and is looking for the 15th and 16th century enamels by artists who would not only be the top early ones, but also of the type of Reymond, Decourt, L. Limousin, etc. Perhaps we could have over here the plates which [[crossed out ]] were [[/crossed out]] are still in Paris. His idea was that maybe [[crossed out]] with you over there [[/crossed out]] amongst our old clientele, some people would like to get rid of that type of enamel, and he is especially interested in this now because their price is exceptionally low.

I confirm my cable of yesterday: BRAQUE PEACHES PICASSO FORMES SOLD SIXTYSIXHUNDRED. My clients, Edna's friends, from Chicago have brought the BRAQUE "Peaches as well as the PICASSO "Formes" for $6,600.- Personally I am delighted with that sale; I hope you are too.

I just spoke to Schempp who told me that the PICASSO (Chrysler) had intersted several people and that when he mentioned the lowest price of $4,500 the people shrieked, as it had brought $2,500 in the sale. Does this change your idea about the asking price of our new oval PICASSO as well as for the two BRAQUEs? If yes, please send me a wire.

Give my best to all those I know and like.

Affectionately,
