BARONESS GOURGAUD: FG took me to her château and having a lawsuit she claims, about the majority of her items, the only pictures she was willing to sell are two upright BRAQUEs - saw photos - about 6' high, representing monumental women holding trays of fruit - c. '24 - Price Frs. 1,600,000., - also DELACROIX ptg. "Rape of Europa" - very fine but dark looking from photo - Frs. 500,000., - and COROT Italy, representing the Forum. Very similar to the one in the Louvre. Baroness Gourgaud, who is an American, is supposed to come to the States this Summer - Her companion is Mme. Baron.

RITZ DIRECTOR - ELMIGER.

BONNARD HEIRS - According to FG, they are Terrasse, composer and musician, and his sister, Miss Terrasse. A friend of FG could mediate for us - this business comprises, I understand, 800 pictures (?) - the man who otherwise would have to be handled, would be Louis Carré.

MME. PAUL GUILLAUME - now Mrs. WALTHER.

WIMPFHEIMER table: There would be a possibility for FG to sell this desk and pay an interesting amount to the Wimpfheimers, were the latter assured of the possibility of transferring their francs into dollars, at the official rate of 120.
