In the absence of Mr. Germain Seligman, I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of January 9, 1947, together with check drawn on the National City Bank of New York in the sum of $123.20 (One hundred twenty-three 20/100 dollars)being reimbursement of unused return transit Le Havre-New York of a Pontiac car.
