Letter No. 3 by E. Bazner

5 East 57th., St.
New York 22, N.Y.

July 14th., 1948

Dear Mr. Seligman:

There has been no mail for the last few days.
A young man, Mr. Schust, student of Will Barnet of the Art Students' League, and sent in by Mr. Barnett, came in late Friday, July 9th., to ask if we had any reproductions for sale of works by Juan Gris. He said he painted in that style. I told him there was nothing I could show him or tell him about reproductions of Gris, but that if he would care to he should come in in September when you and Mrs. Parker will be here - that you might be able to help him. I did mention that there was a Gris exhibition recently in Cincinnati and gave him the address so that he could write for a catalogue if he wished.

(from the Herald Tribune, July 13.)
I am enclosing also a clipping regarding the Rockefeller gift to the Frick collection, which may be of interest.

With best regards and wishes, to you and Mrs. Seligman,

Sincerely,

Mr. Germain Seligman
