CAMPBELL (Arthur Bradley)came in with Mr. McKim and looked at several paintings. I sold him your Seurat book which he paid in cash. I will try to find out whether anything was of interest to him. From his visit, I gather not.

I asked Professor Venturi what way one had to send paintings into Italy. He answered to send them via Hudson Shipping Company who has a correspondent in Rome called Tataglia(?), who does very often that type of operation. The painting must be sent to Italy for restoration purposes.
