Dear Miss Bazner:

I thank you for your letters Nos. 1, 2, and 3.

[] ordered for S & F. on approval []

L'art Francaise et l'art Allemand du Moyen Age by Emile Male. Please give Wittenborn the green light at $3.00.

Mr. Pulitzer's letter. This will have to be held in abeyance for my return, as I have no Einstein book along with me.

[] ok.

Clyfford Trevor. Please write to him as follows: "Having succeeded in reaching Mr. Germain Seligman by mail, he has requested me to let you know how very appreciative he is of your good lines of July 7, but unfortunately having no Robaut available and he fears he will not find one until he comes back to New York at the beginning of September, he will be unable to answer you until then. Trusting you will understand and thanking you anew on Mr. Seligman's behalf, Yours very sincerely".

And for my return, with Mr. Trevor's letter please have the Robaut handy with the page marked.

Leonardoda Vinci Catalogue. Please be a little more explicit. What is it? You must realize that though I have a normally good memory, I cannot remember every book or catalogue I have ordered and with what it is connected.

Martha Washington. I have no idea of the meaning of this call. Please remind me and put it on things to do in September.

Vander Meulen. Thank you ever so much for the information, but you have not yet struck, evidently, the prints I am referring to, as it must comprise a great many of them and do not forget that my thought that the painting might represent a fortress on the Rhine is a mere hunch.

Castiglione.Sales Catalogue. This was so important an auction that it certainly is available at one of the libraries. By the way, did you ask Jack if we had it?

With kind wishes,
Sincerely,

G.S.
