April 17, 1950 Dear Sir: From the first to the fifth of September of this, the Holy Year, there will be held at Rome the First International Congress of Catholic Artist embrancing all the fields of the arts with the exception of that of the Cinema, and of Letters. Enclosed you will find [[strikethrough]] three [[/strikethrough]] OMP folders containing certain information concerning this Congress. We ask that you bring to the attention of your art department the aims of this endeavor, and give what encouragement you may find possible to its success. More detailed information explaining the aims, ideals, program, travel arrangements, and expenses will follow shortly. Publicity for the Congress will reach the general public through the various media of the press.
